- 1 Tablespoon fig preserves
- 1 ounce elderflower liqueur (use 1/2 ounce for less sweet cocktail)
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce honey simple syrup
- 3 ounces prosecco more or less as needed/desired
To a shaker, add the fig preserves, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and honey syrup.
Add a scoop of ice to the shaker and shake well until very cold, 30 seconds.
Strain into your serving glass.
Top with prosecco. Garnish as desired with a fresh fig half and/or lemon wedge or peel. Serve.
You can use half the amount of honey instead of a honey simple syrup, however honey tends to clump up and form hard chunks when cold.
Recipe for honey simple syrup. You can also use a regular simple syrup, it will just be a slightly different flavor.
