How to Make Watermelon Puree for Drinks

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups watermelon cut into chunks approximately 1.5 inches large
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Trim the rind off your watermelon and cut the red fruit into chunks approximately 1.5 inches large. (If they are too large, you will have difficulty blending it).
  • Place the watermelon and water into the blender.
  • Blend on high until well blended, 1-2 minutes.
  • If desired, strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh strainer. Use a spoon to help push it through as needed.
  • Discard the pulp that is left in the strainer. Store in an airtight container, refrigerated. The juice is best within 4 days.
