Making Watermelon Puree
There are just a few easy steps to make this watermelon juice!
We are adding a little water to the melon because it will help with the blending process.
I find the blender to be the best way to make the fresh watermelon juice. You could also use a food processor.
Make sure to blend the juicy watermelon on a high speed to really break down the chunks and pulp as much as possible.
After blending, it is optional to strain the juice.
If you are okay with having fruit pulp in the juice, you can leave it as is.
To strain, simply pour the watermelon puree through a fine mesh strainer (fine mesh sieve) into a container.
Use a large spoon to help push it through as needed.
Discard the pulp that is left in the strainer.
Store the juice in a glass jar (I like to use a large mason jar), pitcher, or airtight container.
That is it!
