Equipment

  • Medium Pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Peeler
  • Measuring Cups
  • Pitcher

Ingredients

Peach Syrup

  • 2 cups peaches frozen or fresh, pitted, cut into large chunks (approximately 3 peaches)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Tea

  • 6 cups water
  • 3 green tea bags

Instructions

Make the Peach Syrup

  • Peel your peaches, remove the pits, and roughly chop. Place the peaches, water, and sugar in a medium pot. Heat over medium high heat on the stove until boiling.
2 cups peaches, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water
  • Let the mixture boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and let the peaches sit in the syrup for 1.5-2 hours to infuse.
  • Strain the syrup if desired. Set aside.

Make the Tea

  • Boil 6 cups of water in a large pot with the three tea bags.
6 cups water, 3 green tea bags
  • Once boiling, turn off the heat. Let the tea bags steep in the water per package directions (typically 1-3 minutes).
  • Add the peach syrup to the tea and stir to combine. Chill in a large pitcher in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

You can leave the skin on the peaches, however it will change the color of your syrup. Mine turned a bright pink when I left the skin on. Removing the skin will give you a traditional peach color.
Your exact yield will vary with how large your glasses are.
