Let’s talk about what you need to make this cocktail!

Sparkling Wine – you can use any sparkling wine that you like. Prosecco is on the sweeter side, and cava is on the drier side.

Fresh Lemon Juice – I prefer to use fresh juice because you can taste the difference! We are not using much – just enough to lift and brighten the cocktail.

Fig Jam – this is an easy way to get our fig flavor.

Fig Mimosa is an easy 3 ingredient cocktail recipe made with sparkling wine and the popular Italian fruit. Perfect for brunch, holiday parties, and a bridal shower.

  • ½ Tablespoon fig jam
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 6 ounces prosecco or other sparkling wine, more or less as needed or desired
  • fresh figs halves to float on top, if desired


  • Put the fig jam and lemon juice in the bottom of a champagne glass. Stir together.
  • Top off with the sparkling wine as desired. Float a fresh fig half on top if desired. Serve.
